Murambi/Rwanda.
The Murambi Technical School, now known as the Murambi Genocide Memorial Centre,is situated in the Murambi district in southern Rwanda. During spring 1994 more than 27.000 Tutsis have been killed by Hutu Interahamwe militiamen. The skeletons and mummified bodies are still visible in the school. In the picture, Caritas Umurerwa, genocide survivor, is one of the guardians of Murambi Memorial.
